Billing & Insurance

Seashore Speech and Language is not directly in-network with any insurance. We provide clients with superbills (detailed invoices) that can be submitted directly to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement.

For your convenience, we ask our clients to input their credit card or bank account transfer (ACH) into our secure online portal. We accept major credit cards, Health Savings Account (HSA), and Flexible Spending Account (FSA) cards. Scheduled ongoing sessions will be billed automatically at the beginning of the month or before your first session.

Evaluation & Therapy Rates

Initial Consultation: Free
In-Clinic Speech and Language Therapy: 60 minutes $170
Evaluations: 60 minutes $400
Social Skills Groups: 60 minutes $75

Frequently Asked Questions

  • A 15-minute consult via phone call is offered free of charge to all potential clients. We will then schedule an evaluation if your child has not been evaluated within the last 6 months. Once the evaluation is complete, we will meet to review the evaluation and determine if ongoing therapy is warranted. If your child has been evaluated within the last 6 months, we will schedule an informal evaluation to make sure the goals for your child are continuing to meet their needs.

  • Seashore Speech and Language is an out-of-network provider. We provide our clients with superbills, detailed invoices you can submit directly to your insurance for potential reimbursement. This allows us to focus on personalized care without being restricted by insurance limitations while still giving the option to access any benefits available through your plan.

  • We're eager to support your child's progress, and consistent attendance plays a big part in that success! If you do need to cancel a session, we kindly ask for a minimum of 24 hours' notice. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will incur the full session fee.

  • Please keep your child home if they are experiencing any of the following symptoms within the last 24 hours:

    • Fever over 100 F

    • Persistent cough or sore throat

    • Vomiting or diarrhea

    • Contagious conditions such as flu, conjunctivitis, strep throat

    Virtual sessions online are an option if your child is feeling up to it and has mild symptoms (like a lingering cough) or recovering from an illness.

  • Yes, 60-minute sessions are 50-minutes of direct therapy, with the remaining 10 minutes used to discuss the session and documentation. Seashore Speech and Language is located within a lovely neighborhood shopping center. You are welcome to grab a coffee or treat from the Starbucks, get some grocery shopping done or take some time to sit and relax. There is a nice park within walking distance of our clinic if you have another child with you that would like to explore. Parents are welcome to observe and participate in their child's session.

  • We work with children between the ages of 18 months and 17 years. There is not a hard rule regarding age limits, and it is more dependent upon whether there is a communication need which we may provide support from our services.

  • Yes, collaborating with other specialists in your child's life is a priority to maintain communication regarding services provided.

  • This clinic was created in order to provide speech and language therapy for children with sensory differences and for children who have not responded well to traditional speech sessions.
